Last year's HubFest...
What a brilliant evening it was.
The first ever 'HubFest' party and fundraising event was attended by over 120 people.
The night started early with an official opening of our newly refurbished games room, in memory of our much loved young member, Teddy Read. Councillor Richard Williams, Mayor of Elmbridge, was accompanied by honoured guests, Hub donors and supporters, in cutting the ribbon to declare the new room open to all our Hub members.
And partying followed. The red carpet was rolled out, acoustic musician, Yasmine Giles, started to play in the 'chill out tent' and the prosecco flowed. Beers, chatter and fairy lights gave the outside area a cool street-party vibe. A delicious bowl of chilli and a few bevvies later, the dance-floor heated up with some classic party numbers from our visiting DJ.
Thanks to the generosity of local businesses and kind donations, the silent auction and raffle were 'off-the scale popular' and we ended the evening having had a fantastic night and raising a chunk of much needed money to help continue our youth work provision.
Thanks to all who attended - it was a memorable evening.
