The Hub launches 2024 Fundraising Campaign

As The Hub nears its 3-year anniversary in its current incarnation it is hard to believe how much we have achieved in such a short space of time! The Hub has had great success in raising funds in 2022-23 through grants, voluntary donations and hall hire, with a focus initially on investing in the internal improvements of the building and paying for ongoing operational costs. None of this would have possible without the dedication of our volunteering team, our Trustees and our Hub Manager Katie, nor indeed without the generosity of our community, individual donors and community partners.

Our local community has been extremely supportive of The Hub financially and in terms of volunteers, donation of goods and services, to the point that it is necessary to create a fundraising strategy to align with the current 3-5-year strategy. We are aiming to achieve a £100,000 target by March 2025, to build on our successes and maintain our self-funding nature as a community charity.

So how will we reach our target?

A mixture of community events, individual challenges, one-off fundraising campaigns, and increasing our community partnerships will all contribute to our total, as well as applying for local and national level grants for specific projects. We are keen to hear from our community as to how think you might be able to help The Hub achieve our goal, or perhaps make suggestions that we could facilitate. A quiz night, a golf day, a comedy night, car washing, school events; or perhaps cycle rides, aquathlons, walks or even marathons for the more sporty of our local supporters!

Please do get in touch and let us help you organise your event  that will benefit The Hub and our local community!
