What a brilliant night. We love Safari Pete, who once again visited The Hub in November and enthralled our young people and volunteers with his menagerie of animals. We had lizards, a scorpion, a meerkat and an owl; a tarantula and a snake were also on show and the audience were even allowed to handle the animals - if they were brave enough!
A night full of fascination, laughter and memories made. The money to pay for Safari Pete was donated by a member of the community which makes it extra special. Anyone who can keep 47 young people and 14 volunteers seated, listening and entertained ages 11-19 and 14 volunteers for over an hour is worth his weight in gold. Thanks Pete!
