About Us

Claygate Youth and Community Hub offers fun youth activities and support to all young people aged 11-19. We provide a safe and welcoming space for young people to socialise, learn new skills, and get support and advice when needed. Our services include Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday youth nights, as well as holiday clubs for 11-16s. Our hall and outside space are also available for community hire, with proceeds funding our youth work.

Our Mission

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide a safe and supportive environment where young people aged 11-19 can socialise, learn new skills, and get support and advice when needed. We believe in empowering young people to achieve their full potential and make positive contributions to their communities.

Our Vision

Our vision is to create a community where all young people have access to the support, resources, and opportunities they need to thrive and succeed.

Our Team

Local people come together to help out when they can at youth sessions.  Our volunteers chat, play, cook, draw, paint, kick a ball, laugh and listen to our young people.

They're an incredible bunch!

Our Story

From village school to dedicated youth hub.

Claygate Youth & Community Hub is a registered charity which took over from Claygate Village Youth Association to provide open access youth work for Claygate, Hinchley Wood, Esher and surrounding areas.

Our building, the old village school built in 1885, is provided to us by Surrey County Council.  All other funding for our youth work and running costs comes from public donations and grants. The Hub is run by a board of trustees who employ our centre manager and support staff and are helped by a team of incredible volunteers.  Our youth sessions have increased from once a week as Claygate Youth Club, to multiple evenings of open access youth work, plus additional activities.

We believe all young people can achieve their full potential, contribute to their communities, and shape their own futures.
