What a day for the Claremont Senior School colour run! Their amazing teachers and 800+ pupils battled the elements - sun, wind, and even torrential rain - but their spirits couldn't be dampened!
They were a sea of colour as they ran around the course, raising vital funds for the Claygate Youth and Community Hub, run in memory of former pupil and Hub member, Teddy Read.
'I am told the picture of me looking like a colourful Bruce Banner will be posted on Instagram once we reach £5000 in donations!' said Headmaster Mr Brierly in his end of term newsletter. Indeed it was - one last push on the day saw them sail past it, with the total exceeding £6,600 from more than 240 individual donors, which is a phenomenal amount, we can’t thank you all enough!
