This Sunday, the Hub's Repair Cafe is back. Bring along any bikes, clothes or soft furnishings in need of a fix and our fantastic team of volunteers will help make them as good as new! 🚲🪡
This is a free service which is open to everyone. Voluntary donations are encouraged to help cover costs and support The Hub's youth work.
What is a Repair Cafe?
A Repair Café is a community-driven initiative that encourages people to repair their broken items rather than discarding them. It serves as a gathering place where individuals can share skills, tools, and knowledge to fix a variety of items.
What can I bring?
The Hub's Repair Cafe is for both bikes and fabrics. Bring any clothing or soft furnishings needing basic repairs or alterations or any bikes in need of basic fixes, inner tube replacements or check-ups. Please bring along any spare parts such as inner tubes or new zips so our repairers can best help you.
Is there a cost?
All repairs are carried out free of charge but a donation is encouraged to help cover running costs. All donations go back into the Repair Cafe or towards The Hub's youth work. Tea and coffee is available for ÂŁ1 and slices of homemade cake for around ÂŁ2!
Thank you to Surrey County Council and Your Fund Surrey for helping to fund this project.
