On Friday it was announced that the Brian Rhodes Community Cup has this year been awarded to Susannah and everyone at The Hub is so proud. This is presented to an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the community of Claygate in the last 12 months, and Susannah more than fits the bill.
Susannah is the Chair of Trustees for The Hub. She volunteers 20+ hours every week and, quite simply, The Hub wouldn't run without her.
She's been a huge driving force with the lease, obtaining grants, working with the community, fundraising, hanging out with our Hub members etc.
There's a couple of photos here that Susannah might question me over but they are all a true representation of her sense of humour, and of how she gives 120% of herself in every situation.
For me (Katie the manager) I wouldn't be the person or the manager/youth worker I am today without her. The support she gives me professionally and personally makes me very lucky and I adore her (except when she questions my punctuation).
Susannah, thank you for all you've done and all you continue to do for The Hub and for the Claygate community and CONGRATULATIONS on this much deserved award.
